Meerkats live in South African Savannah,where it's very hot by intense heat.They usually eat worms,crickets,grasshoppers,small rodents,small snakes,birds,eggs,lizards,or fruits.They can live for 12 to 14 years.Meerkats are excellent at smelling and they can find their food even when it is hiding under ground.
